As I mentioned previously Kris and Bob were able to return to the Island for a very short period of time on Tuesday. Kris has informed me when she was on site Tuesday morning the winds were blowing northeast so the smoke did not come near the co-ops. She walked about the grounds and noted no evidence of damage to the exterior of the buildings.
The site staff was able to return full time to the Co-ops on Wednesday. Selected units in the C2 (bayfront) and D2 (Star on Atlantic Walk) buildings were entered and checked. I am happy to announce that I have been told there is no sign of damage to any of the units. None of these units showed either the presence or smell of smoke nor deposition of soot from the recent fire in the harbor area. I am asking that all units in the C2, D1 and D2 buildings be examined in the upcoming days, but there is no reason to believe any damage will be found.
